FUCHS & DEMAR (& BossT) sind für einige immer noch ein Geheimtipp. Aber die drei Freunde aus dem Münsterland, die sich schon seit der Schulzeit kennen, konnten sich mit dem Release von DEMARs Solo-EP namens "DREAM" und einigen beachtlichen Auftritten einen Namen machen.
Nach dem überaus positiven Feedback dazu bekamen FUCHS, DEMAR und BossT Bock auf mehr. Zusammen mit dem Label One Little At The Corner Music und dem Verlag La Chunga music publishing GmbH pushen sie jetzt ihre Vision von modern produziertem Oldschool-Rap und legen ihr Debütalbum BEI ECKE vor.

Wie schon auf der vorangegangen EP liegt auch auf dem Album BEI ECKE der Fokus wieder auf modern klingendem Oldschool-BoomBap-HipHop. Textlich haben die Jungs einiges dazugelernt und ihre messerscharfen Beobachtungen des Alltags noch weiter verfeinert. So begleiten sie mal kritisch, mal ironisch den alltäglichen Kampf um ein gutes Leben. In vielen Texten kann man sich einfach wiederfinden, wie zum Beispiel im Text zur ersten Single Warte Das System, welcher sich um den Sprung ins kalte Wasser, dem Stellen der eigenen Ängste und der „Szene“ dreht, in der sie mitmischen wollen. Thematisch dreht es sich in BEI ECKE um schöne, wie auch bedrückende Erlebnisse, die jeder auf die ein oder andere Weise selbst erlebt hat. So kann die Musik von FUCHS & DEMAR Hörer*innen hoffentlich helfen Dinge zu verarbeiten.
